Yay, that makes four of us so far!  I'm hoping for a couple more.  Anyone else interested?

In hopes to get a few more, I will post in the soap making section.  Perhaps not everyone reads the Upcoming Events section.

So our deadline to commit to the swap is approaching- Feb 1st.  We still have only 4 people.  How about a couple more...  Come on Canadians- this will be a blast.  If we end up just  the four of us, we could always swap a soap plus another product, whether it be more soap, lotion, butter, etc.  What do you all think?  The shipping cost would be almost the same.

I am going to have to hot process a soap today to swap.  Hubby's father has ICU for the last couple of days.  The staff have been bribed with baskets of soaps and bath bombs.  Much better than chocolates ;-)

I hope your father-in-law is doing better, ceebee.

Well, folks, it looks like there's just four of us.  Shall we decide exacly how we will proceed?  We have the option of exchanging one soap (or other product) each or two.  I vote for two so that we get six items instead of three.  The postage price is almost the same either way.  I think $15 per peron will cover postage- I will ship CP Expedited.  I will weigh/measure before shipping and if the postage turns out to be significantly less, I will slip the difference into the parcel.  Shall we do full size items since we have a small swap?  I prefer all natural EO soaps and products.  We should also include an ingredient list with each product.  I am OK with sending recipes, too.  So please share your thoughts and preferences here.  Once we are all decided, I will contact you with my shipping info and we can get the ball rolling.  Can't wait to see, smell and test all your fantastic products!! He seems to be out of the woods today, it was nice to be in the workshop and relax with a batch of soap.

I was planning on sending a bar and a small jar of cream soap and the recipes.  But I'll go along with what ever the group decides.

ceebee- I'm glad he's doing better.  Smiley
Would you be able to e-mail me your e-mail address? Mine, Kneecole's and nfgal's are posted here on the site.  Then we can e-mail directly so we don't have to post our mailing addresses online.

Hi All,
So we are all in!   Grin  Just to summarize, there are 4 of us and we will all be sending 3 full size soaps and 3 other products- soaps or whatever we'd like to share- with an emphasis on 'natural' products.  If you send your recipes, you will get the others' recipes.  Please send $15 to cover shipping.  If I get everything before March 1st, I will ship it to you earlier.  Make sure I have your return addresses; I think everyone has mine.  I know we are going to get some fabulous stuff!!  Grin

This is a great idea. If another "Canadian Soap Swap" is happening again in the future I will be interested. I'm in Calgary.
