I have a batch of Steve's Honey Oatmeal Soap in the freezer.  How long do I leave it there.  His tutorial makes it sound like I should leave it there for 24 hours and then unmold it.  Is that right?  Or do I take it out sooner?  I am wondering how I know if the soap is solid only because it is frozen or if when thawed it will still be solid??  Or do I wait until it is frozen and then take it out and then wait another 24 hrs for it to cure?  Can anyone fill me in?

On that particular soap, I would remove it from the fridge after an overnight in there. I'd let it set in the mold for another 24 hours, then whenever it is completely room temperature, I'd touch it gently to see if it is solid.  If it is still soft, which it is likely to be, then leave it for another 24.  that soap takes a long time to harden.

if it is just for you and you aren't worried about having perfect bars, you could gently pull it out of the mold and let it set on a curing rack to finish hardening.

Exactly what I would recommend!  Mine is always a little soft as it comes back to room temp but hardens quickly thereafter.  Don't panic!  It will be fine!

Thanks!  It's been out of freezer since noon yesterday.  It had drops of oil on top when I went to bed, but they are gone this morning and it still can be dented if I press on it with my finger, so I'm going to give it a couple more hours and then unmold it.  Does that sound right?
