I used both almond milk and coconut milk. The coconut milk produced a creamy feeling soap, but the almond milk soap was too soft. Same recipe, just different results. Neither of them have much fat in them, so I really don't see the use of using either in my soaps any more other than for label appeal. But, that's just my experience and I know it has 99% to do with my recipe. Other people swear it makes their soap better. I just don't have the experience to know why they didn't do great things for my soap...but I will eventually find out.
